A1 Fire Rated Fibre Cement Boards – Reinforced
Ideal for floors, walls, or ceilings—indoors or out. These boards replace plywood and plasterboard, offering A1 fire resistance along with mould and water resistance. Their high strength and dimensional stability make them perfect for even the toughest, wettest environments.
Cutting & Fitting
Score and snap like plasterboard, or cut with a saw (use a dust extractor when using power tools). Install by screwing, gluing, drylining, or taping—just like plywood or plasterboard. The method depends on the surface, location, and final covering. Contact our technical team for tailored advice.
Usage
These versatile boards can be installed almost anywhere—wet rooms, behind wood burners, or exterior facades. They perform well in hot, cold, wet, or dry environments and offer outstanding durability and dimensional stability.
For single-skin applications on solid surfaces, 6mm boards are sufficient. For walls or ceilings with studs, we recommend 9mm or 12mm boards for better strength and soundproofing. For maximum performance, install a 6–12mm base layer followed by a staggered 12mm top layer to seal joints and boost rigidity, sound, and fire resistance.
